lift pump need help asap

Hello all, and thanks in advance for any suggestions!
I've gotten the lift pump out with no problems...EXCEPT for the electrical connection. the dang thing does not want to move. can I spray some penetrating oil on the connection? I can't imagine that would be the best thing to do considering it is electrical, but it won't move at all.
thanks again,
Ian

Are you pressing down or lifting up (can't remember which way it goes) on the lock tab?

Pressing down on the top. There is a locking tab on the male (wire side) connector. Shine a light on it and you'll see it. The fuel line quick connect has two blue tabs also. Push them in togeather.

Do you have a fuel pressure guage?

I had to push on the tab, gently pull & gently twist at the same time. It should come right out. Sorry you are having trouble.
