Lift pump died replaced with f.a.s.s.

My lift pump died last week and i replaced it with a F.A.S.S. system and it still is not working. I checked the plug to the pump and their is no voltage to the plug. I checked all the fuses but can't find the relay where do i look or what else do I look for.

Well, I just looked through my 2004 shop manual and it looks like the transfer pump gets its power directly from the ECM and not from any external fuse or relay in the PDC.

The nice folks at the Hemi Truck Club have the 03, 04, 05 and 06 manuals available. Here is a link to the 04 manual:
http://www.hemitruckclub.com/04manual/

The stock transfer pump will only run for a couple seconds when you first turn the key to on. It will also run for about 25 seconds when you bump the starter. Try bumping the starter and then check for voltage.

By the way, how many miles are on your truck? I'm wondering if it is under warranty? I've also heard that DC is replacing 04 transfer pumps when they go bad with the new 05 in-tank pumps. Can anyone confirm this?

Do you leave your truck for potty breaks?

Make sure all connections to the FASS are SOLID!!! I can't stress this enough! I have had issues in the past with the units i have installed due to this.....check at the BATT. The Neg and Pos. Make sure all the crimps are solid. Plug up your old LP and see if it fires....should be still in the truck IIRC. Check the charge on your BATTS. You have lots of miles....so do your BATTS. UH.....man....just referance a manual if you can and let us know what you find.....

Relay should be in the Under Hood fues box......and you can swap with another relay to test if you want....just refer to your diagram.
