I have the front cover off my 2000 24V right now.

The gear case on this truck has a raised area around the dowel pin,about a 1/4" above the bolt, it is not flat like all the pictures I have seen about this.

Do I need to worry about doing the tab?
Is this an updated cover?
Should I build a little spacer to put between the bolt and the case to hold the tab up?
Build my own tab?

The pin is fully seated at 103,000.

Any help would be appreciated.

I was told that the 2000 Could be a KDP problem or it may not. SO I ordered the TST kit. I got it here now.
