KDP Help Sorta
I just finished tabbing my KDP. I put everything back together and tried to start it, and it acts like the batteries are dead. Almost acts like a gasser that has the timing to far advanced. I know that I did not move anything that could have changed the timing. The only thing that I am not sure that went back on the same way it came off was the vibration damper. It has two notches on the OD of it that are 180* apart. I noted the location of one of the notches, and put it back in the same position. I just don't know if it was the same notch in the same place. Again, I don't think this has anything to do with timing? I didn't notice that it had two notches until I went to put it back on. I have not tried to jump it yet. I know that I also rotated the engine backwards a little when I was torqueing the vibration damper. Would this have any effect on the engine. Pleas help, I have to go to work in 4 hours!!

It's the batteries. Sorry to cry wolf, but I just neve would have guessed the batteries would go dead just after sitting for a day and a half.
By the way, the KDP had not moved at all.
Thanks,
Darrin

That was my first thought also, but I had both batteries disconnected, so I ruled that out. Just a fluke I guess. I had to jump start it to get to work this morning, and I drive 75 miles one way. When I got here, I tried to restart and it did the same thing. I guess it was just their time. They have been kinda sluggish lately.
Thanks for the input,
Darrin
