wow you weren't joking $225 for the set. $50 back order part isn't sounding as bad.

Replace all of them. If one is getting weak they are all doing so, they are the same age. Install with cheap hair spray to help get them on and helps to seal them up. The new spring loaded clamps will go a long way to keeping them on for a long time too.

I double clamp my hoses. That way they stay on. I've blown off the hoses so many times. The intercooler you need to weld a bead around the inlet/outlet tubes. The double clamp seems to work to the 80psi area. I bought the PDR kit. The clamps are way better than stock and hoses are twice the thickness as stock.
DB is on back order also, they mite have them in stock in 2 weeks. I left a message with www.piersdiesel.com, they have some cheep ones for 65 each, hopefully in stock. I wouldnt have to spend the money on new clamps if I can reuse the old ones right?
you could take the old one to an autoparts store and find a coolant hose that is the same diameter and hack a piece out of it the same length you need. keep the boost down, it should hold for a few weeks.
Go to your local farm store or big truck shop and match it up with boost hose from them. Clean the pipe and the inside of the hose with rubbing alcohol and then soak it with hairspray as you are assembling it. I have yet to blow a stock hose by doing this.
hi
what about one of those rubber sleve / boot things you get at builder supply store to connect pvc pipes together , they even come with clamps ?
how much psi will they hold ?
just an idea !
