Installed FASS - won't start!

....got it all installed, and can hear the pump run when I turn the key on; Cycled it several times, and - the engine cranked, but would not start! Ran the batteries down by cranking it in about 5-10 second intervals. The pump runs after the key is off....is that normal?

So....you guys know where I start my troubleshooting?

Thx -
Rauschbo

Did you crack the lines at the injectors and bleed the fuel system? If you did and you got fuel at the injectors then I would look at a restriction somewhere in the system. Perhaps you are sucking in air from somewhere?

....yep, that was to be the first step ....HAD I not drained the batteries! I'll try to charge them, but...they're pretty dead, and pretty cheap, I may have to put new ones in before I can finish this project up....

I may pull the line off the IP to make sure there is a full load there before I start cracking injectors.

....Update:
Yanked the POS QD from the tank, and clamped the hose - (after installing new batteries!), the pump IMMEDIATELY sounded way different. Had to prime it to the VP, and bleed 3 injectors to get it to fire, but fire she did, and I'm back on the road!

Now, when is Quadzilla going to release the latest version of their chip....??

I think that mean's one of two thing's. Either he didn't have the dis-connect on the tank connected very good, or he fixed it by bleeding it the other way.

It means the POS (piece of poop) QD (quick disconnect) was leaking air and he took it off and used a hose clamp.
