I was just out in the garage checking my connections and the engine is stone cold, but the air intake where the ground is connected with the other ground is rather warm, it is the warmest thing in the entire engine compartment and the turck has been sitting all day long, please help

The intake has grid heaters in it. Sounds like you managed to get the grid heaters to turn on somehow.

I connected the ground for the comp box to the bolt on the intake that already has the ground on it just like the directions said, so i said heck with it and hooked it up toa different bolt on there intake and that seems to work, but to day i am going to buy some more wire and hook it dirrectly to the ground on the battery

Did you hook the wire to a grid heater stud or an air horn mounting bolt? One of the 4 air horn mounting bolts is where the Comp should grounded.......
