Hey guys a few weaks ago my built tranny started acting up auto 47re ... almost like unlocking of TC at freeway speeds , RPM's were surgeing almost 200rpm at steady driving. I step on throttle R's raise upto 2500ish i go no where like unlocking. take back to shop change shift solenoids tighhten cable; almost 2 weeks later pulling my trailer it acts up again so I take it back to shop they now say bad ALTANATOR voltage spikes so i got a new "alt" next day i drive 83 miles one way it drove like i was in 2nd gear the 83 miles home. The "alt" was unplugged truck runs fine!!!! Plug it back in runs like crap. So tonight i'am told there going to sheild my cable as anyone herd of this

 

Try wrapping the wire that goes from the Alt to the battery (Pass side) with foil then wrap it with electrical tape. Some say it helps. Do a search on here for more info.
