loosen fuel cap and turn key to run, not start and repeat till you see fuel sputter out, wait a few seconds between cycling the key and listen fo rthe lp to run. once it spits fuel tighten the filter and then start

You might need to crack injectors one and three. That will help prime the injector pump.

In the 2nd gens, it meant "Fuel Level Unit No Change Over Miles",
bad sender in the fuel tank.

Click here for a list of trouble codes

And welcome aboard Rob
(the above link is from the Tech Facts section at the top of the page )

EDIT: I just noticed that the 0460 code is not listed there.

P0460 - Fuel Level Sensor Circuit as per here ; http://www.autotap.com/generic_trouble_codes.html

think it means you ran it out of fuel, seems you already knew that.

thanks

Thanks for all the help - bled all the air out at the banjo bolt and at the injectors too - cracked 5 of 6. After about 5 mins, and lots of air escaping - it started with no problem. I IMMEDIATELY went to top off the tanks- I won't be doing that again (running out) EVER !!!

Excellent. A note for anybody reading this. You only need to crack 3 injector lines. The engine will start and run on three cylinders. Once its running the others purge fairly quickly.
