I have to leave tomorrow A.M.!!!

I just got done washing my truck to leave for terre haute tomorrow morning at 5 a.m. As soon as I started to truck I noticed the tranny light was on. I ran the key cycle and saw that the p 1693 code came up. I looked around on here and see that this is a companion code and i need to get it cleared at an auto zone, etc. My question is should i trust my truck to make the 3 hour trip before it can get looked at????

Did you wash in the engine compartment per chance? If so I would not worry about it as it is most likely just some moisture in the wiring. If your truck seems to be running OK, I wouldn't worry about the P1693, it can pop up for many reasons. Good luck!

Sounds like you may have gotten a connector wet. Here is what I found for the P1693 Code: Turbo Charge Control Circuit Malfunction. If it's running fine I wouldn't worry about it. Take it for a good ride tonight to take and dry it out.
