huge loss of power?

well i was puttin on some light force lights tonight i accidently hit the pyro cables of the outlook monitor on to the positve post of the battery...after i got the lights done i went to start my truck and my outlook monitor is just a black screen so i check codes and codes p0069 and p0299 have been tripped..i took the truck out for a drive and i can hardly spin out on ice i was reading about those codes and one is apprently an underboost and ones for the mapsensor so i returned my truck to stock setttings to see if this helped it didnt i also had the batterys undone for quiet a while..when i retruned it back to stock i got a p1932 code which apprently is a bullydog code..i was wondering how to go aobut fixing these problems...and about the outlook monitor do i have to take it back to the place of purchase or do i do it over the phone with bullydog?

I would first check for any small fuse that you might have blown when you shorted accross your battery terminal and if that doesn't work You might try to return to where you bought it and tell them it stopped working and see if they will swap it out. How old is it? Still in warranty? Youre lucky it didn't burn thru the pyro cable and melt more goodies . when you do get it replaced I would wrap the pyro cable with some plastic loom or water pipe insulation to prevent this from accidentally happening again OUCH!

Or, Matt, you might take responsibility when you chat with the place you got it from and tell them the whole story. It may be a simple repair or it might be fried. Either way, it wasn't their fault IMHO.

Give them an honest chance to help you.
