Higher than normal EGT's

I just put my new MBRP Exhaust on and now it seems that my EGT's are running higher. I generaly run in the mid to upper 400's when tooling around the city but now Im at the mid 5's. Also had to wait for almost 2 minutes at idle before shutting down to allow them to get sown to 300. Is this normal? -Tim-

Highway running 50-75 mph I'm running right at 600*. In city driving I'm always right around 500* and unless its 20-30 degrees outside, It takes 2-3 min to cool to 300* and 3-5 to get down to 250*.

My gauges have only been on for 4 days now but everything else has been on for the past 14000 miles. From what I've read, this all seems normal.
