High idle controller

A couple weeks ago I found a high idle kit on a manufactures site. Now i cant remember the site where i found it.
Can someone help refresh my bad memory and tell me who makes/sells this kit?

Thanks in advance, Mooseman

Do you have cruise control? If so why buy the kit, just go to the dealer and get them to do a reflash.

2001 will only have the cold start upgrade with the 3 cylinder mode and auto up idle under 60°F manifold temp.. I think mooseman wants a variable control idle..

This is the one I know about. http://www.psdieselproducts.com

The dealer can enable an option in the PCM/ECM that allows the cruise control to act as a variable high idle.

That is the cold weather high idle TSB and does not work in conjunction with the cruise control.

Do you have any more info on this? A link or a TSB # or something? I have never heard of this.....I would like to know how to get it done. I will have to be able to hold the dealer tech's hand to do a reflash around here!

Only the 3rd gens have the cruise control activated high idle.

2nd gens only get the temperature controlled high idle.

Or just use the Home Depot High Idler kit.
It works in all temperatures, costs much less, and doubles as an attitude adjuster.

I use the power seat to adjust my Home Depot High Idler.
My high idler also doubles as an ice scraper.

Mine is "calibrated" for 1200 rpm.
Just trim until you get it where you want it.
