so im changing my fuel filter today and all that i had left to do was bump the starter a few time to get it to prime.....ive done this procedure a good 5 or 6 times before and never had a problem. today i bumped it about 4 times, it started and diesd after maybe 5 seconds. tried priming it again about 6 times, still wouldnt turn over?!!!

never had this problem before, hope someone can tell me what to do

loosen up the inj. fittings on the side of the head (the ones that are most EZ to get at) and do the same thing key on and off a couple times...you should hear the electric lift pump running then crank her over for about 10 sec. (no use in melting your starter) do this till you see fual comming out or the fittings you looosened up...now just barely snug them and crank it she might be making noises like she is going to fire at this pt. Now snug them dwn a little more ..she will come to life by now. snorq them dwn to proper torq...while running or not.
( Don't get yor tie in the fan )

I would suspect your lift pump is gettig week check the preasure as they are cheeper then the vp thingy
