help, truck tore apart quick question

i am doing the kdp fix. it looks like i have to remove the crank sensor.. but if i do wont it need to be reset when put back on? someone?

Just mark the position and put it back in the same spot. Not a big deal....

Set it with a matchbook cover folded over (2 layers) between the sensor and the damper. That's close enough.

Yep, reset it, book says .049/.051 but I have seen all kinds of different measurements used on here, and most seem to work just fine.
If you dont have a feeler gauge, do as wanna said and a double layer of a matchbook will work.
