OK,<br>Her insurance agency has a claim that I put in....The process is rolling.<br><br>What is the approximate cost of the following? So I dont get screwed---or look stupid talking to the adjuster.<br><br>4x4 standard cab, 8800 gvw, 4x4, 3.5 ratio, 5 speed Cummins of course<br><br>Bumper, and all the plastic parts<br>Axle, drivers side front<br>Frame rail--replace<br>Frame rail--straighten<br>Steering gear<br><br>Assorted Tie rods, etc...front steering parts.<br><br>Trying to put together a WORST CASE scenario. Her insurace co. has their own adjusters....But I have heard they are knowledgeable.<br>

 

everytime i talk to someone who hits a deer the front usaully cost around 2500. You also need to look at the radiator and stuff if it has done that much damage . I'm thinkin around 5 to 6 grand if it has been hit that hard . Haven't wrecked any of mine yet so i'm not sure on the dodge's cost

 

This is something I can actually help with. My truck is in right now getting fixed for a Deer hit (actually 2 deer). What was damaged: Left fender, front bumber, front bumper cover, left turn signal, left headlight, left front tie rod. this part is costing $2550 (this is from deer #1). The whole left side of the truck bed is being replaced as a unit (from deer #2) and the cost on this is $1100. $667 for the side panel alone. Extra costs that are not solid yet, Full 4 wheel alignment check and frame check $350. The Insurance company wrote me a check for $3750 (total minus my $250 deduct) and said to let them know if there are more things wrong.<br><br>I was amazed they did not argue nor fuss about anything.
