i replaced the ESS on the dampner cause the red wire was cutn thought that fixed my problem but it didn't.

the tach bounces all over n ALL the lights flicker n will shutoff completely n come right back on. when the lights go off quick the radio will also shutoff n come right back on. the radio acts like it looses all the power n gets it right back.

the tach reading on my scanner bounces all over the place but the one on the truck doesn't show but a little.

plus my airbag n low fuel light are on the whole time.

if i turn the od off n run in drive it seems fine until i turn the od back on.

need to have this fixed tomm.

i really don't know but if it were me i would check my main wiring bulkhead on the firewall

 

theres gotta be one spot to do all this stuff.

i went on a 400 mile trip with no problems at all and the roads were bumpy as hell too. then i go on this 130 mile trip and it started acting up. i stopped to look at a nova for sale and noticed my fuel return like under the intake was leaking bad and i mean bad.

so i am wondering if that had something to do with this acting up???

its the return line out of the injection pump at the back of the engine under the intake right there someone before me replaced it with a rubber hose down to the frame. well the hose busted there and is leaking like crazy.

could this be causing anything??

need to this fixed today. anyone??

 

also with the fuel light the guage doesn't work at all and the airbag light has been on since i bought it.
