Let us know what they find, betcha some computer ecu related crap, cam position sensor, or some other IMPROVEMENT that will leave you on side of road. Everyone can say the newer trucks are better yada yada yada, and I guess that is true in power and torque wars. FACT IS, NEW DIESELS ARE NOT AS RELIABLE AS THEY ONCE WERE.

 

well got tghe truck back today,they didnt really find the problem,when they where checking for it they traced it back to a relay that had been tripped somewhere in one of the control units but couldnt determine what had tripped the relay,they ran it for about an hour and drove it about 50 miles and coouldnt get it to duplicate itself,so i my wife picked up the truckand i have to stop in tomorrow so they can show me what they did to get it running,in case it happenes again i wont be stranded.they said they found a lose pin in one of bulk head conectors that may have been arcing and caused the relay to trip but they arent sure,so ill drive it until it happenes again(if it does)and take it from there

actuallly its not on yet,it was shipped on monday,Im close with Darrel Bassani the owner so he hooked me up with a smokin price on it,ill most likely get it put on this weekend ,Ill let you know then.How do you like it?He told me you get alot of turbine noise through the exhaust which is the tone i was looking for,is it really loud or somewhat quiet?
