Do a search of the Net with the term "rebuild" and the model of the GM differential on which you are working, there are a number of sites with full schematics available.

From: Omaha, AR
inter & outer bearings of corse then the axle nut with the tit on it (tit out) then the washer with all the tit holes in it (BE SURE that the tit gos in one of the holes [this could take a while]) then the 2nd nut (tighten the 2nd nut good) then there is a thin shield thats bigger that the spring sets on then the spring then the two locking peices (big one first then the little one that splines on the inter axle) (the big one splines on the hub) put on the snap ring on the axle (you might have to push the axle forward with a screw driver in the u-joint) then comes the out side piece with the threaded holes in it that holds the outside hub on then put in the outside snap ring and bolt on the hub and that should be it. thats the longest sentence I have ever seen that dosent really make sence. (well it does to me anyways)
