Help

help....my buddy just called me from up North in the woods he blew a brake line. And has very little brakes the brake line that he blew goes to the rear brakes. Question if we block the flow going to the rear brakes could we squeek by with just front brakes. Remember we are up North in the woods and it is 40 degrees and raining. Thanks for you help

Only way to fimd out is try it and see. If you can block off the line to the back breaks I see no reason why you cant make it back .....

Front brakes do about 70 percent of the stopping, clamp the line solid and drive carefully.

I had to do this with Wifey's LandCruiser about a month ago.
Cut the line, fold it over, crimped it down as hard as I could and left a pair of vise grips on the crimp.
Still lost a little fluid, but made it safely home on the front brakes.
