Exclamation Fuel Pump Problem, Need Help!

I need help with my fuel system. 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 SLT. A shop told me that my original fuel lift pump is putting out no pressure and recommended replacing with a FASS pump. I am unemployed and would like to be able to do the install myself to keep cost to a minimum. I look on the FASS website and there are three different models listed for 2001, FASS 95/95-1008, FASS 150/95-1008 and HPFP-95-1003. There is no information indicating which unit is designed for my truck. Each has a pdf installation manual but they all look like complete conversions with enough fuel hose to make a respectable white lightning still. Is there anyone that makes a pump that can be simply bolted in place of the original equipment? I'm not looking to drag race or pull my mother-in-law's house to another state, I'd just like to be able to drive to work. Is there anyone out there that can help me?

I would think if you called FASS they would be glad to recomend the correct one! I only have a stock one.

That way you can see what their customer service seems like.

Mad,

FASS makes a direct replacement pump that sounds like it would be more up your alley, you can find it here http://www.dodge-diesel.org/fadidorepudo.html

Install manual here http://www.fassride.com/np_userfiles...2e83a5d572.pdf

im pretty sure the replacement pump is the hpfp 1003. I went with the fass 95, been smooth sailing ever since. but as always it is recomended you get at least a low pressure light switch, just in case. becaus ethese fail too!

PS: I wish I knew more about the trucks because I loved the "I'm not looking to drag race or pull my mother-in-law's house to another state". If you never get it running again at least take heart in the fact that you had a few of us laughing our rears off.
