Ok i turning to everbody here,
I have a surging problem, but only at cruise speed! NOT pulling a hill or going down, only on the flat, just to keep speed, now it does this both on cruise control and on the throttle.

If im on cruise or by pedal and ask for moderate throttle it will go and smoothes out, when you hard throttle it, it will really go with no problems at all, This is only at light throttle speeds.
I have replaced the fuel filter, the fca, apps, with no help.


Could this be a cp3 going out, but why does it run so well at moderste and heavy throttle both on cruise or pedal.
Any help would be great...

i dont have fuel pressure reading

but my pyro stays at around 550 and my boost is at 6 to 8.

i would check the lift pump first since the cp depends on it way more then a vp does.

 

Lift pump was replaced with the intank version. If the lift pump was failing, wouldnt it effect the high demand at full throttle more than at cruise.

 

I think it would yes. Does it run abnormally hot or smoke more? could be a leaking injector.

 

no smoke no other problems at all, it runs great other than that, it starts very easy and very quick, cold or hot

 

used a buddies truck and we took the cascade and the fuel pressure valve, and it seems to running better, havent driven it yet much will know more tomorrow afternoon how we did. will keep you updated
