fuel pressure

93 cummins just died, bled off the front injector to get started and later truck died again but this time not so abruptly, bled off the front injector with no luck then went to the fourth injector and got truck running then bled all injectors off fron front to back, the truck will start but seems i am either getting air or the injector pump is cutting out,i tightened the hose clamp at the mech., fuel pump and going to check the one at the tank, any idea,s,the weather is cold and snowy, its not fuel gelling for sure, swhould i loosen the rear injector and drive a bit to push any air completely thru the system?

Sounds like the picup tube for fuel in your tank has a whole in it...How much fuel you got in her tank?

There a few things that occur to me , 1st do a fuel pressure test .
Then checking the fuel delivery system [ supply & return ] all of it for leaks .
Get a hold of an extra fuel cap [ for tank fill ] , drill a hole small enough to put a tire valve in and seal it , so as to not leak air .
Then put about 2-3 lbs of pressure in tank , this is because from the tank to lift pump is a vacuum [ so you can not see a leak ] , then use a flash lite to look for fuel leaks in all fuel lines & hoses , not missing a single spot .
Then look at the fuel return lines & hoses while engine is running also .
Is this a new issue , and no work has been done for a long time [ looking for a reason for this to start , so easier to find , maybe something was left lose or disturbed .
But make sure the 1st thing is checked at beginning & end to help find & confirm issue , fuel pressure test .
