Fuel heater position

The fuel heater came off with the fuel filter.
There is one side that has a metal face and teh other side is plastic............

Which side goes to the filter and which to the block?

do you mean the metal face part of the heater? when yours fell off the threaded stud thing that the filter screws onto came off with the filter right?


The threaded stud came off with teh filter and I didnt see how it went on....
one end of the stud is slotted, I am sure that goes to the filter, but I dont know which face of the heater goes to the filter



the metal face goes to the filter on the heater. and the slotted end also goes to the filter i just can figure how to get it off without wrecking the threads
