Does anyone have a picture of the stock fuel plate position

I am going to take a look at my fuel plate this weekend. DOes anyone have a picture of the stock position? I wouldn't know if someone messed with it if I looked at it without a picture.

There is a slot in the middle of the plate the adjustments are all diff but if you see about 1/16" between the screw and the front of the slot that is close to stock

Stock position is different on every engine, that's why it's important to mark the position before you mess with it.
I've seen a couple that were for sure stock that were all the way forward.
The real reason for the ability to slide the plate is to make up for engine variability, not for boosting hp as many do.

I bought my truck this past April and I know someone had messed with it. I want to look at the plate and wondered what the stock position was.

BTW how do you set the plate position?

There are two flathead screws that hold the fuel plate down. You loosen (don't remove, unless you want to remove the plate for another) those and the plate will slide forward and back in the slotted holes.

the biggest thing to look for is if the tamper proof screw has been tampered with. if it is changed out or has a slot or torx head then chances are it's been messed around with. if it's totally stock then i would venture to say it hasn't because who's gonna replace that thing with the stock type screw.

IIRC TST includes a new screw with one of their kits, installs with a socket/allen wrench, and then breaks off.

When I do a plate I always put in a new breakoff screw but do not always break them off.

I know my fuel plate has been messed with or replaced. When I bought the truck it was leaking oil like Niagara Falls. I traced it back to the AFC area to find a screw completely missing. I put a cap screw in there and the leak stopped.

It's things like this that make me leery of anything that the DPO did to this truck. I already repaired or replaced a laundry list of items in the 3 1/2 months I have had this truck and expect to do more. Next stop is the fuel plate.

I want to have a stock plate on hand to swap in there when I pull the AFC apart. I expect to find a replacement plate or worse a Bubba-ground stock plate. I have a friend that has a bone-stock 1996 regular cab that he has owned since day one. I can blow the doors off him with my truck. I know something has been done to it and I ruled out the fuel system so now I suspect the fuel plate.
