I threw this code yesterday while idling in park. I noticed before this, that the engine would skip or "hiccup" at all RPMs, even at idle. My fuel pressure runs about 26-28 psi and, as far as I can tell, has not dropped below 10 psi at WOT.

For a little background, I haven't changed my fuel filter for 7k miles. I did the walbro kit upgrade after that last filter change (see link in sig). There is also an in-line filter pre-walbro that I have not yet cleaned.

I think changing & cleaning those filters may solve my problems, but I've been nervous lately of other damage related to high EGT's. I've had it in the 1500's quite a few times for 3-4 seconds, and have seen mid-1600 peaks. I need to stop reading threads about "melted pistons" on this board. It's like watching a movie about a plane crash when your on a plane.
