1996 down on power suddenly!

Hi,

My biotruck has very little pick up. This happened suddenly. Starts fine, sounds good(not rough), turbo singing, but when you floor the bio pedal not much happens. It feels like a car with a carb with no accelerator pump or a Hyundae Excel (sp) in perfect condition.
Please help.

Do you have boost when you put foot into it?
Do you have smoke?
If so, what color, how thick, and when do you have it?

When you say bio-truck are you using WVO?
If so my bet is your injectors are coked up.

Stamey and Infidel,

Thanks for the responses. The turbo spools up when I put my foot in it but I can't quantify if I have boost (No boost gauge). No smoke except a puff on start up. I don't use WVO, I make my own biodiesel which I have been using for 18 months. How do I know if my injectors are coked up? If only some of the injectors are coked would the truck run rough? What clues would indicate that my lift pump is failing?
