front wheel bearings
front wheel bearings
my 2000 dodge has a bad bearing........... havent pulled tire off yet....im tryin to call auto parts store before it closes at 9 to get the bearing. talked to one store (oreily's) and they said that 99 has a bearing but a 2000 has a "sealed bearing". 200 bucks to replace
is this correct?
must find out before they close.
the tire will "wobble" a very considerable amount........the bearing is the prob right?
also any additional info about the bearing replacement would be nice.

I beleive the 99's even have a sealed bearing , or some of them do. I know a guy with a 99 2wd who was rather upset about the cost of his bearings. a 2000 definetly has sealed units.
thanks for the replies guys........im gonna leave it alone tonite
ne body else have input on how much the top ball joints will cost ? (the ones i can see above the hub after removing the tire)
