engine starts and dies after 15-20 seconds
I drove my truck to dinner and all was fine.I went to leave and it started fine and died after about 15 seconds.its not the transfer pump in the tank is it. truck is a 2006 5.9

Could be a bad skim key. Try a different key if you have one. It should set code if key is not communicating with skim module. Best to check for any codes first.
