Thumbs down Electrical Problem

Hey guys I've got a big problem. All my factory gauges and my a/c compressor have gone out( blower motor still works). The RPM's gauge still functions.
I was having an aftermarket transmission put in and my local transmission guy messed with the wrong wire on the PCM. Thus leading to the previous stated results. He said the scanner said that it was the guage cluster module.
Any help would be appreciated.

I would check to see if the tranny guy failed to connect or pinched the wires to the crank position sensor above the starter.

It may not start with out the CPS connected , and when you disconnect a sensor , you will set all the codes that that sensor has , but disconnecting sensors will not ruin anything , usally , but then something like a regulator for an altinator ,being disconnected will make the alt. run full field - full charge , and will burn out the alt. , so you realy need to do these things on a case by case basis .
To realy try to answer your ? it sounds like something happened to the wiring when the trans. was installed , follow the harness from those devices and look for issues ,

So does the CPS often cause the kind of problems I'm experiencing?

I unplugged the CPS today and nothing changed. Does this mean it is bad? I'm kinda of thinking it might be the MIC module, what do ya'll think? Anybody know how much these parts cost? Thanks
