Help<br>98.5 ctd 24 valve, edge comp installed 2 days ago, driving down the street ( 15 mins after start up last night) truck stalled (quit). Thought it ran out of fuel, (added fuel and primed) still won't start. What could be wrong? Turns over and over. Lift pump failure, box failure? anyone had this problem, need help now!!!<br><br>

It might be the VP44 injection pump. Read THIS ARTICLE and THIS ARTICLE

Blue Chip carries a VP44 tester which tests for a failed injection pump.

Also, how much fuel pressure was the truck running?

 

Do you have the pump wire hooked up? from what I understand injector pumps if they are going to fail as a result of the pump wire typically do it within the 1st several days of hookup. Either way you are going to have diagnos what your beast ain't gettin.<br>Tim

 

I'm gonna have to agree with Kent on this one... If your pump wire is in fact hooked up, sounds like your VP44 may be (.)(.) up. :'( :'(

Take it to a reputable diesel shop &amp; have it diagnosed. I would definitely try &amp; stay away from the ******* if you can.
