Diesel Everywhere!!!!
Diesel Everywhere!!!!
yea so im a dummy*, i forgot to put my fuel pressure sender in the end of my line before I bumped the starter and I found out the hard way that my lift pump still works to some degree... what can I do to clean this stuff up, its everywhere
Kitty litter is cheap and works pretty well at getting the stuff up off the ground. Let it sit for a day or so, then "scrub" it in with a stiff broom, then sweep it up.
as for the engine compartment, I use Simple Green on a cold engine, let it sit for about 5 minutes, then hose it off.

Well, that depends on where "everywhere" is. If it is out side I wouldn't get really upset over it. If it was in the cab, boy you got a fun one. I don't know how you could ever get it out.

im still laughing about it... I hosed everything off with the best soap known to man (tide) and will go into the engine bay with some brake parts cleaner

Fastss,
Hopefully there won't be a next time, but if there is, use Dawn dish soap. Very effective in removing oil. Was used on water fowl that got mixed up in that Exxon oil spill years ago.
