Did 2 stroke clog your filter's
I'm not 100% sure that it did mine, or that my fiter's were even clogged. I won't know until I drive the truck after changing the filter's. But it seem's like I started having a rough idle, loss on power, and a dramatic drop in mpg about 1000 mile's after starting the 2 stroke deal.
Just wondering if anyone had problem's. Or, any other idea's what could be wrong. Thank's.

Not trying to chage the subject, but I have searched for the Baldwin 5 micron fuel filter ( I assume that it works in the OEM filter housing) and have not found where to purchase it. Any suggestions?

I was using 1oz. per gal. And, putting the oil in first, then the fuel. Like I said,,I wasn't 100% sure it was the oil causing the problem. I just drove 300 mile's and got alot better mpg. I think it was the filter, but who's to say if the oil was the blam. I'll try the oil again. If it happens again, guess I'll know.
It's not the 2-stroke! 2-stroke is designed to mix with fuel, even if you put in 1st there is enough fuel in the tank to delute it were it wouldn't flow full strength through the pick-up into the filter. I've been running 2-stroke for 3+ years with nothing but positive results. You have a better chance of getting bad fuel to plug the filter then the 2-stroke.
And NO I dont think you would want to use it in a 6.7.
I've been adding 16oz at each fill up for at least 4 months and have had zero issue with doing so.
I'm NOT prepared to say it does or doesn't help mileage. I can't see any trend in my 'book' of fuel data.
I AM prepared to say that I don't worry about getting a 'dry' load of ULSD!!! And that my pump gets lubricated better by using it!!!
