Anyone have any advice on 99 dodge diesel diagnostic code 0211. This code reads "contact chrysler" I can't find anywhere on internet. Don't know if I should continue driving or if truck should go in ASAP. I was made aware due to orange check engine light coming on inconsistantly.

 

Did a quick search and couldn't find anything on it either.

The 0200 range of codes is mainly Injection pump, Injector or Turbo problems.

Strange how all the online sources left that one out.

Did an extensive search. Could only come up with "injector #11 failure" Will be interesed in what you get from dodge??

That's what I get........."Injector circuit - cylinder 11". Whatever that means! Hope it helps.

 

Any OBD code I have found shows that 0211 is a generic code for "injector circuit malfunction - cylinder 11" Obviously this is an issue with a 6 cylinder engine???

 

Yep, I checked out my OBDII stuff and I also got injector circuit/open circuit

 

If a code shows on my CTD, how do I know what the code means ? Is there a list available?

I would erase it and see if it resets. I have one that comes up occasionally. When I turn the key on for some reason not running the engine like when installing and testing the blower motor, it sets I think 0237, low boost pressure voltage. I erase it and it does not come back.

 

Does anyone know what the code 2509 means? Or even where you go to check what the codes mean, or where to find a code list could also be very helpful.
