I am pulling P1689, 0237 and 1693. My truck is still under powertrain warranty but I was wondering if my dealership mechanic can put on better equipment if PROPERLY motivated? Like maybe they have a better VP44 but save the good stuff for other people.

 

Wikth your power mods, Edge Juice, Boost elbow, etc, depending on your dealer, warranty is probably out the door. You might get away witht eh exhaust and intake but unless your dealer looks the other way I would guess no warranty. Also power train is 5 years under 100K no deductable, over 5 but under 7 years under 100k $100 deductable. Just a FYI.

Yeah I already took the edge box off and the boost elbow.

 

Did you have the wire tapped?

 

Read your warranty book. The Cummins diesel engine warranty goes into effect "AFTER" the Dodge basic 3/36. I got my VP covered, and I might add it was BEFORE the pump was tapped.
