cylinder missing or inj. bad?
today on my way home from work it felt like a cylinder was missing or not firing? I know when I bought this truck a month ago I found that the lift pump was bad and I replaced it. I have no idea how long it was bad . The previous (original) owner told me he had van haisley put injectors in it for him. I can feel the miss or knock or what ever it is thru the gear shift and thru the peddles and the higher the rpm the worse it seems to get . It also seems that the motor seems to fall on its face after 2,000 rpm pulls strong till around that then seems to kinda fall off after that. any ideas on this ? the truck is an 01 and only has 73,000 miles and I am the 2nd owner. I was also wondering about warranty? does that automatically transfer or do i and the original owner have to fill out something and send it in? I am hopeing to get this covered under warranty. sorry these may be common knowledge questions but this is the first truck I have had with a warranty
thanks in advance for any help with this . I hate it when my baby is sick

I just pulled the codes from the truck and I used the key off and on thing . The codes I got are as follows P500 vehicle speed sensor 1 circuit. P 0234 Turbo charger overboost and a 1693 which I have no idea what that one is. Can any one help with these ? what should I do abotu them or what do they mean adn or how do I get rid of them or do I need to ???? thanks in advance
Well I don't know about the warrenty but I can tell you that if you have an overboost code set that goes a long way to explaining your power loss above 2000rpm. When the ecm sees an overboost it defuels the engine to bring the boost level back into the 20psi limit and sets the overboost code. Why you have the overboost I don't know.
