Red face Ctd Clatter

Hey Guys Brand New To This Site. 2006 2500 4x4 Ctd 25000 Miles, bully Dog,boost Fooler, 5" To 4 Duals, raptor Fuel Pump, cold Air Intake. Was Heading Home After A Day In The City When I Poured Some Diesel In It To Go Around A Vehicle And Noticed The Power Was Not All There(still Shot Around It ), But I Did Not Notice Anything Real Bad \. Stopped By The House And The Truck Sounded Like It Was Missing. The Next Day It Was Very Hard To Start ,changed Fuel Filter, started Right Up. I Had Some Bad Fuel Cleaned All Up ,pulled Fuel Tank Washed Out And Flushed Out Line. Still Have A "clatter" Under Load. At 70 Mph At Accelerating High Pitch Clatter Changed The Oil And Recovered About 4gal Oil?? Did Not Change Anything.good Oil Pressure, fuel Pressure,etc.. Any Help Would Be Great.

Welcome to DTR. Sounds like you've got a bad injector. Any codes?

Someone else who knows more will chime in soon, but my guess is you've got a bad injector.

4 gallons of oil, I thought they only held three, sounds like an injector. Oil have a fuel smell to it.

watch your fuel use/ oil level closely, if the fuel seems to be drainin fast off the gauge, or the oil level is rising on the dipstick. get it to the dealer or call them to flat bed it........... bad injector will thin your oil down so bad that it will kill your motor in no time. as for your mods, they might not like them on your truck when it gets there, well the Bully dog and boost fooler anyway.
