Chugs and Dies

Hi, I am new to the forums here and hoping I can find some help. A few days ago while driving to get new tires put on my truck it started chugging but did not die, then when I got into town it chugged again and died. I was able to get it started again. But after starting it, it would die right away. After about 5 tries it would start and I could drive it for a while. Once the new tires were on and I was on my way home the same thing happened. I had just recently filled the tank with fuel and thought I may have gotten some bad diesel. I added a cleaner to the fuel and that did not help. I bought and installed a new fuel filter and that did not do the trick either. Any ideas on what it could be? I am by no means a mechanic, just wondering if I am going to have to take it in. I think it is still under warranty, with 75k miles. Thanks!
