Changing battery advise please
There was also a cell phone charger hooked up,,,all though it was not charging the phone at the time. I don't know if that could have helped or not.
The break-away was not pulled engaging the trailer brake's. When it's plugged into the truck, the light on the unit say's "charging". It's alway's been like that and never any trouble before.
I've left the trailer hooked up like this many time's before, for several day's at a time and never had this problem. I'm thinking it's the leaking battery, but I could be wrong. I'm going to get them tested hopefully today.

I dont see where a cell phone charger would drain 2 batteries that quick. We've had the factory dodge batteries in our trucks since they were bought new in 99. Still running strong. Always replace both at the same time. More cca is better in my opinion provided the reserve capacity is still good. Thats one reason I wont get the optimia red tops. they have more cca but about half the reserve of the factory.
