changed rotors..still squeeks

my pads looked fine with lots of material still on them...i replaced rotors...and I am stuill getting some squeeking towards the end when i come to that final stop....so i ened to just take the pads and lightly sand them off to get an even surface?...or could it be somehting else?...ps can the rear shoes squeek too?

yes rear shoe's can squeek too however I would look at the pads you need to put anti-squeek goo on the back side of the pads. Buy it at the autoparts, it's orange, silicone basicly, and keeps the pads from vibrating in the calipers. I am a belever in the stuff.

i would say that my rears squeak more than anything. just when you put the stuff on you pads dont do what my dad did when he helped me change my brakes/rotors. and put the pad on backwards. it took a 1/4 in off the rotor in no time
