Hey guys I finally pulled the turbo off my truck to get varified what it is. I compared it to my stocker and the exhaust housing is WAY bigger and the compressor side is WAY bigger so I know its definately not an HY35 ;D If you can tell by the exhaust inlet it is slpit into 2 chambers like the manifold is the stock one is just an open hole. I will post pics of the stock one and the one I bought that is off my truck. For addidional info the turbo does spool to around 39.5PSI on my isspro gauge when under WOT my stock turbo could not go over 30PSI so I know it works better but i want more EGT reduction and faster spool up.<br>

Yours is a PDR to right? Maybe this guy got a piers and just sent it to me??? Im gonna send it to piers for analasys!

 

I doubt Piers touched that turbo. It may have come off a motorhome or something.<br><br>Never saw one with that type of clamp

Whats a WH1C??? I dunno this things works great a little slow on spool but good EGT control and makes 40 PSI all day long. Just slow to spool I want a little more spool. I was looking at some pics of diff ones and it looks like the one I posted from that site of the 35.???

 

I believe the WH1c is off a first generation truck, 89-93<br><br>I would not invest $400.00 to have piers upgrade it, you would be better off buying a new PDR35 for $650.00

 

I spoke with harry he believes it to be an HX 35 with a 16 Cm housing. They are more then happy to look at it and its on its way there now.<br><br><br>
