sounds like your OD off button is not working 2100 is the right RPM for that speed, the only other thing i'm thinking is it has a saftey not to go out of OD because of the speed it would probably redline the engne.<br><br>DRecu!<br><br>BTW why are you trying to take OD off @ 70 MPH?

With my truck and 3.54 rear @ 70 mph Im at 1850 rpm or so. If your runnning 2100 with the same set up - it just might be possible your torque convertor is not locking up.<br><br>You should feel your TC lock up in third gear. While in 3rd yu will notice a drop in rpm while accellrating after the shift change. That is when the TC is locking up.<br><br>I say this because when I lost line pressure I was running about 2100 rpm in OD.
