Busted Brake Hose

My front passenger brake hose busted on me last night. It was not a pretty sight when someone just stoped in the middle of 2 lanes and my pedel goes to the floor. I was able to swerve out of the way and prevent my new friend from receiving a ranch hand enima.

Well, any way. I need a hose, I need it today, and need to know where I can it and what can take place of my busted brake line. I have searched on Autozone.com and they dont carry the stock replacement.

Remember this is Sunday and there are only a few autoparts open.

I am pretty sure if you could find a napa you would be alright. If I remember right they might have something universal you could put together if you cant find anything specific for your truck.

Had the same problem on my truck couple of months ago. My local NAPA couldn't get it because it was for a 4x4. Had to go to the dealer. Here it ran about $70. Another option is to have one made at a hydraulic shop. The problem I had was someone in the truck's past had installed the wrong hose. If I turned too sharp it would rub through eventually. Make sure the hose you have is the right one before you have a copy made. Hope this helps.
