Truck went into limp home mode and I am sure it is the number 5 injector. This has happened 3-4 times but it always cleared up in a minute or two and the dealer refused to fix it. I took the valve cover off previously and checked the resistance of each injector and all of them except number 5 had I think 1.0 ohms of resistance but number 5 had 0.7 ohms resistance.

Anyway we are towing a fifth wheel on the 2nd day of a 3 week trip. We are in the Wal Mart parking lot and there is a combined Ford/Dodge dealership here. Does anyone know anything about this dealership? Will they be able to work on a Cummins? It is still under the engine warranty.

Any other suggestions?

this happen to me on way to ma. stoped in autozone cleared code and was on my way it did not happen till 2 months later
