brake line

1994 diesel 2500 4 wheel drive.
I''m on the road. Got a leak in one of the front brake lines, took everything out, bought the left and right rubber lines and two steel lines, the short one goes from the engine compartment to the tee on the left front wheel fitting, the long one goes from that tee to the right front wheel.
The brake lines are 3/16" so I bought new 3/16" lines. Well it turns out the fittings are all the right size except the one in the engine compartment, near the master brake cylinder. For some reason Dodge used a brake line with two different size nuts on the ends. So I have to buy adapters. But I didn't keep the old line so I don't know what size nut it uses; I just know it's bigger than the nut that's standard on 3/16" brake line.
The aperture it screws into points down. I'm sure you guys with that engine know what I'm talking about.
What size nut does it take? If I don't hear back I am going to buy adapters for 1/4".
Edit: Got it together, now I have to bleed it.

I can't loosen the nipple to bleed the brakes. I sprayed it with PB Blaster, hit it a few times and then tried to turn it with a box-end wrench. No dice. The wrench rounded it over.
Does anybody have any tricks to solve this problem?

Sorry to hear about your misfortune! I have had issues similar to this in the past and I now carry a six point box end wrench to avoid rounding the bleeders. Of course I have managed to break a few that way...
If the bleeder is too rounded to use a six point wrench on, I have had to resort to vise grips in the past. Just make sure to hit them with plenty of PB blaster (as you have done) and let them sit as long as possible.
Good luck!

Thanks mishkaya.
Maybe I am looking at the wrong screw. Is the bleeder on top, pointing up? It's 10mm, the screw I'm looking at. Anybody got a link to a photo or a good diagram?

the bleeder is on the top and is `10mm...try vice grips or a 6pt socket.

Ok, since this is going to take some time I'll move over to the regular board and start a thread about it there.
