blue smoke

On a cold start, about 10 sec alright, then the blue smoke rolls, raw diesel odor like the old 400 Cummins. Doesn't really have a miss, more like a blubber. When it warms up it seems to be OK and milage has come up. 118,000 and counting. Still no mods as coins are short.

Re:blue smoke

Might be a problem with the grid heaters not cycling correctly.

Re:blue smoke

Mine does something similar to what yours is doing. Mine even has a cold miss. I was told that it could be the overflow valve. I am going to check the spring length on mine but it is too dang cold outside. The high today was about 5* and the low tonight is forcast to be about -14*.
Tom

Re:blue smoke

Dang, had 2 cold starts today,no smoke,no problem. Did watch dome light, heaters seem to be cycling. Hopefully just one of those things that happens once in awhile. Will see if anything else happens. Thanks folks.
Shafe
