Just curious, why did you decide to replace the steel line with high quality fuel hose ? I am waiting for some fittings. I was planning on replacing the line from the lift pump back to the tank with 1/2" aluminum tubing. I was thinking that the aluminum tubing would be less likely to collapse since it's on the suction side of the pump and the aluminum is shiny.

I used that stuff to reroute my puke bottle, ran it back under the tranny and left off the puke bottle.
