block heater

Getting ready to install heater cord, where exactly does it plug in,, need a hand no garage and its cold out

you mean the extension cord??....probably right front, above bumper??

His 05 probably didn't come with the cord for the block heater. the block heater is installed, just no cord, the cord was/is a ordered option.

You will find the round heater connection behind the oil filter on the block. When you take the cap off, it should look this.

Looking down at the motor, you will see it on the block under the exhaust manifold in this picture.

thats exactly what I was looking for rattlinram, but I figured it out last nite and my truck heated up pretty quick this morning but Im sure somebody else can use the very helpful pic, wish I wouldve had about 4 hours earlier, it wouldve save some time
