Bilstien question
Bilstien question
hello all Ineed some quick advice on weather or not to exchange my Bilstien shocks that were ordered from Off road warehouse.com. They sent me two fronts #F4-BE5-2549-HO and two rears #f4-B46-1908-H1 and as far as I can tell the rears seem to be for a 1500. Should I be concerned or will they be fine? I have a 2000 2500 4wd quad w/8800lb rating.
You should be able to double check the part# on the bilstein website. If all else, just call them. They were extremely helpful when I called searching for mine. Probably not open until Monday though.
I'd most definitely not mount them!
You will need the 2550HO , I installed a set on a 1500 gasser (1908s) and the truck was a little too spongy- I would not want to drive a loaded 2500 with those shocks.
Just my 2c

Thanks you for your replies I was scheduled to have them put on monday morning but I think I will only have the fronts put on for now and those 2550's that the previous post referred to seem to be the correct ones for the rear. Unfortunatly the Offroad warehouse is 3 hours back in time, well it will all work out just wanted to double check myself. Thanks again for the quick feedback. This is a great forum
