Before I start it
I installed a #10 plate and before I start it is there any thing special I was supposed to do or guide into place as I put on the afc housing???
I don't want to start it if I missed a step. I just put the housing on and put it back together.
Also the guide made it look a little sideways compared to the old one, does it matter if it is a little crooked?
Any commly forgotton steps???

With some plates that aren't installed in the stock position it's wise to follow the instructions here http://www.piersdiesel.com/TechLeverAdj.htm
If you don't the governor arm may go under the plate, you won't get the performance you should have.
